Visitor’s Review:

It's Like Lisa Frank and Andy Warhol Had a Neon Baby... and We Visited It ...

If you're wondering what would happen if your childhood Trapper Keeper exploded in an art gallery... this is your spot. Rainbow Vomit is part interactive art installation, part Instagram fever dream, and 100% weird in the best way. It's also exactly the kind of place I drag my kids to on a Workcation - somewhere unexpected, colorful, and just unhinged enough to balance out whatever keynote I've just delivered on executive influence and workplace culture.

Located just off Fair Park in Dallas, Rainbow Vomit is an immersive art exhibit. Think: multi-room installations with walls you can touch, things you can climb on (within reason), hidden doors, and blacklight glowing flowers, clouds, and cosmic chaos. The experience is kind of like a small-scale Meow Wolf, but make it rainbows and unicorns. Each room tells a mini-story, and while my younger kids immediately got lost in the whimsy, my older ones started planning their social media content.

Is It Worth It? Here's the truth: It's not massive. You're not going to spend half a day here. But what it lacks in square footage, it makes up for in character, charm, and creative photo ops.

The team running the space is kind, patient, and clearly enthusiastic about what they do... offering tips on where to stand for the best shots, and even adjusting costume props so your photos look like something off Dua Lipa's album cover.

For families, it's a win. For couples on date night? Actually, also a win.

Tips:

- Book ahead, they allow walk-ins sometimes, but tickets sell out quickly on weekends and holidays.
- Bring your camera or a phone with battery life — this is basically Gen Z Disneyland but make it mini.
- You'll probably only spend about 45 minutes to an hour inside, but the memories (and selfies) will last way longer.
- There's a little gift area... skip it unless you're into rainbow poop emoji merch (no judgment).
